A single coaster of 'Sanda Abstract in Tones of Blue' printed on hardboard with a heat resistant gloss coating over the print.
This print is from an abstract painting inspired by Sanda Island, locally named, Spoon Island because of its resemblance to an upturned spoon. Located at the southern tip of the Kintyre peninsula, it can be seen from the hills of Arran on a clear day. The island is designated a site of 'Scientific Special Interest' for its importance to migratory and breeding birds.
