Day's End, Arran
Lynn graduated from Glasgow School of Art in 1990 and has continued to work as an artist, exhibiting in both solo and group exhibitions in the UK, USA, Spain, Germany, Italy and France.
Lynn has been based in Scotland for most of this working period apart from two years spent in Spain and one in Winchester. Lynn worked at Fuente Studios, Andalucia (1995) and studios in Barcelona (1995-1996) and as a student at Barra De Ferro Studios, Barcelona (1997-1998). She completed her Masters Degree in European Fine Art at Winchester School of Art in 1998.
Lynn originally trained as a Fine Art Printmaker, but developed her work experimenting with a variety of media; including painting, photographic installation and printing. The work has expressed her continued aesthetic interest in repetition and pattern. After completing her studies Lynn received assistance from a Scottish Arts Council grant for a photographic project, and went on to work with Satellite Studios.
Through Satellite Lynn contributed to several group shows in a variety of venues in Glasgow. In addition to this, Lynn had the opportunity to gain experience working with community groups and schools on different art projects. Lynn's personal art practice continued to explore her interest in pattern and repetition, looking at the natural and man-made landscape.
