Arran Art Gallery is for people from all over the world that have an affinity with the beautiful Isle of Arran.
Strandline jewellery is inspired by the beaches and landscapes of Arran. Strandline means the high-water mark on the shore. Lynsey wants the name of her jewellery line to reflect the influence of living next to the coast.
After studying jewellery design at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art, Lynsey has recently moved back to Arran where she spent her childhood. She creates her pieces from her home studio in Whiting Bay using silver and non-precious metals. Lynsey uses a process of texturing silver called 'reticulation' in her designs which create a different finish each time making every piece individual.
