Biography

Marjorie was born in Fray Bentos, Uruguay in 1937. She lived abroad, mostly in South and Central America and Spain until 1990 when she came to settle in Ayrshire. Marjorie started painting late in life at an art school in Brazil and then at Robinwood Art School in Ayr, run by Joan Lawson. She has concentrated mostly on painting pigs and has lately included dogs. She paints with water-based oils and likes to use a pallet knife.
