Born and raised in Namibia, Bridget's adventurous and creative spirit has taken her around the world, observing and absorbing the art, nature and vibrant cultures on offer. During her travels she was able to attend pottery and sculpture classes in Cape Town, New York, Charleston S.C. and Sydney.
Now a part of Studio D in Sydney, Bridget works alongside a group of sculptors, in between doing her other passion, Ka Huna Hawaiian Massage. "Somehow the two are linked", Bridget says, "I love to take a chunk of clay and turn it into a feeling. When I am working with the clay it is my intention to create a piece that evokes a feeling of warmth, kindness, peacefulness or love. If I reach just one person in this way, then I have achieved my goal."
Bridget shares a sculpture studio (Studio D, Castle Cove) with Nick Giles, Rozanna Carbon, Lesley Murray and Lily Lim in Sydney.
